Pavakka Mezhukkupuratti (Kerala Bitter Gourd Stir- Fry) – The yummiest way to make bitter gourd

I am a fan of bitter gourd / bitter melon. I like it prepared in various ways. There are many, I’m sure who are afraid to tackle this gourd, due to its bitter taste. Some gourds, are more bitter, especially the smaller ones. In this recipe, we see how to make it in the authentic Kerala method, where much of the bitter flavor is mellowed by adding the sweetness of the onion and the sour taste of tomatoes. It’s really delicious and my favorite method of preparing bitter gourd.
