How to make Dried Red Chilli Paste – Video

A spice paste, made solely from dried red chillies, is a wonderful paste to have in your fridge. Add to cooking, marinades, sauces. I use it extensively in my cooking.

Dried red chillies of any variety are boiled, soaked and ground to a smooth paste. I use mild dried red chillies. If you use hot chillies, you will need to wear a mask when you are grinding them.
