Crunchy Mixture Snack Salad

Difficulty: Beginner Prep Time 10 mins Total Time 10 mins

Description

Bombay mixture is a popular Indian snack mix known for its spicy and crunchy blend of various ingredients. It's a common treat enjoyed during tea time or as a party snack. The snack contains, small crispy fried broken noodles (sev), fried lentils and sometimes incorporated split roasted chickpeas and roasted peanuts. This is the base of our Bombay Mix Salad. 1. Dice the onion, tomato, cucumber, celery(optional) and add into a bowl. (Squeeze out excess juice from tomatoes before adding).
  2. Add 1- 2 tsp lemon juice only if you like it extra sour. (Adding too much will make the mixture soggy)
  3. Sprinkle chat masala ( if using).
  4. Mix well with a dash of salt.
  5. Just prior to serving, add the Bombay Mix and Corriander leaves. Toss and serve.
it is important not to let the dish sit too long before serving, once you have added the mixture, to retain maximum crunchiness.
