Kadala Pola (Sweet Split Chick Peas Pancake)

The perfect sweet crepe like pancake! Unlike Maharashtrian & Gujarati version, this Kadala Pola uses Split Chick Peas (Kadala Parippu) and egg. A melting sweet crepe that is a temptation indeed.
Kadala Pola (Sweet Split Chick Peas Pancake)

Ingredients:
- 10 Eggs
- 8 Tbsp Sugar
- 120 gms Split Chick Peas/Bengal gram/kadala parippu
- 6 Cardamom pods
- 1cup Milk
- Salt-A pinch
- 25 gms Nuts of choice
Method:
- Pressure cook the Bengal gram for about 2 whistles.
- Grind the split chick peas/gram coarsely and keep aside.
- Beat the eggs with milk, sugar and cardamom.
- Mix the gram with the egg and milk mixture and add a pinch of salt to it.
- Coat a nonstick pan with ghee and pour the mixture into it.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Roast the nuts in ghee.
- Garnish and serve.
