How to make Dhungar Dal Tadka – Recipe at a glance:
- Cook the Dal.
- Smoke the charcoal.
- Chop fresh ingredients.
- Saute ingredients, with seasoning and add to the cooked dal. Simmer.
- Smoke the dal in a tightly closed pot, using the Dhungar technique. Rest a while.
- Tadka: Tempering done with spices in hot oil which is poured over the finished dal.
