Buko Salad – Filipino Fruit Salad  – An absolutely delicious dessert from the Philipines.

Now we all get that undeniable sweet dessert craving every now and then don’t we? A couple of years ago, my friend Macy, told me about this delicious fruit salad popular in the Philipines and brought by the Filipino communities all over the world. Yet, it is not so well known.

I was intrigued by all the ingredients that went into the making of this dessert salad. Surprisingly, for the fruit salad, none of the ingredients were fresh. Almost everything is made from a can or a jar. It sounded crazy, but then I just had to try it.

Yes, it is a calorie bomb! You don’t want to make it just for your family. But if you have a picnic or potluck to go to, this can feed a crowd and it is so satisfying.

Yes! Today, we are satisfying our sweet tooth cravings to the max!
